Always Living in View of Eternity describes the life and heart of Dr. Ken Nichols. He was called by God to minister to the needs of others upon graduating from Cedarville University.

 

He then earned a master’s degree from Wright State University, and a second master’s and doctorate from Rosemead Graduate School of Psychology, Biola University. Dr. Nichols served as the Associate Pastor of Family Ministries at Shadow Mountain Community Church from 1999 to 2008 and as the Dean of Behavioral Science at Southern California Seminary from 2005 -2008, both located near San Diego.

 

ALIVE Ministries began out of a deep passion to encourage and equip believers in dealing with the problems of life.

 

Dr. Nichols’ prayer is that God will utilize his years of counseling, mentoring and teaching experience to minister to believers in a way that will help them develop an eternal perspective of life.

 

God is using Dr. Nichols and his message of hope to provide help and healing through biblical counseling, Christ-centered resources and life-impacting seminars. Over the past 38 years through seminars, retreats and counseling sessions, Dr. Nichols zealous commitment to minister to the hurting has resulted in hundreds of restored marriages, as well as thousands of individuals experiencing victory over encumbering emotional, relational and spiritual disorders. Men and women have been set free from the bondage of controlling habits and emotional pain.

Partnering with him in ministry is his lovely wife, Marlene, whom he married in 1966.
Together, during the Weekend of Oneness Seminars, they share their own joys and challenges of marriage and parenting. Their honesty, humor and transparency radiates throughout all they teach. They have raised three godly children, and are proud Papa and Nana to six grandchildren.
